I am so happy to have been able to see these guys. They were my first guitar heroes and I've been playing over 45 years. I never got to see Mel and Bob, but I'm so glad Nokie and Don are still rocking and still playing great. Leon fills his dad's shoes more than admirably and Bob Spalding is a great player too and such a nice dude. I've been listening to my Ventures albums ever since I got home from the show. They should have been in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame when it first opened! Rock on Guys!

From the first beat of the drum to the last strum of the guitar, it was amazing. Lead guitarist fenominal, can't believe they have been playing for 50 years. They certainly sound as good as they did.

A fantastic show. I recognized all the songs. I liked the backdrop with titles, album covers,
even pictures.

I commented to their audio guy about the HIGH volume of the songs at The Avalon,
Fallsview casino! They were running 110 decibles!!!! Well the Ventures audio man
did the same thing. I could feel the bass in my chest. One couple near me walked out
after 2 songs!!!!!! I put up with the high volume. And I'm hearing impared.
Above 3.000 Hertz I am legaly deaf!!!

The Ventures was one of my favourite bands as a youth in the 1960's. All these 50 years later they still play the way I remember them all those years ago. The selections were well chosen, they seemed to know which tunes I would have selected if asked. Not only did they play from their own hits but performed several other well known hits of the 60's era, Jorgen Ingmann's "Apache", a little bit of Carl Perkins, The Tornadoes "Tell Star", The Animals "House of the Rising Sun" and many other memorable selections. Age may show in the faces but not in the music, it was a step back in time, a real great time, but it takes 50 years to realize that. Tremendous show, I hope they come around next year because I'll be there.

The Ventures played a tight well-paced set of old songs. They met the expectations of everyone around us. They graciously stayed to sign autographs and memorabilia after the show.

Great to see a band that has been entertaining over 50 years and easily to 3 generations of music listeners. Hawaii 5 O, Apache, Caravan.... all these songs that are still relevant today
