We attended the 2011 Continental Cup in St. Albert. Our family had a wonderful time. The curlers were entertaining and overall fun to watch. There was always lots of action and tons of funny moments. Wish it wasn't over.

The Langley Events center is awesome and I would watch the Continental Cup again. Lots of variety with the mixed and skins games. Amazing curlers from all over the world, both men and women. The value was great.

We enjoyed the games that we saw. The Skills Competition was great to watch to seem them do different things with the curling rocks. We will be going again. There are things that happen at the game that you do not seen on television. This made it all the better.

Excellent venue, entertaining curling - particularly the mixed doubles and singles competition, great MC, decent food, fantastic patch and band. Suggestion - the bar should have also served non-alcoholic drinks, so people didn't have to go back upstairs to get a pop, for example. Also, given the autograph session was in the program and promoted, and people lined up for autographs, it would have been appropriate for the Nordberg team to be present, as well as Eve Muirhead - their absence was a disappointment.

Very enjoyable with great curling. It was also great to see excellent curling shots executed by some great curling teams. A shame that the attendance was not better.

We thought the whole weekend was great- watching the curling not only of N. America but of the World's prominent players. The Langley Events Centre was a great facility the whole atmosphere was fantastic. It was a fun time as well especially in the final game-1st end! It was good to see the World curlers in person rather than just on T.V.
All in all we really enjoyed our 1st time at the Continental Curling Cup and will probably take it in again!

The event was great. It was very exciting to see curlers from around the world and the skill level displayed. The competition itself has a great format (unlike original curling games) with the skins/points/mix-up of teams competing.

The curling was great, the venue the Langley event centre was great but as a curler even we found the singles really boring there was too much time spent setting up , changing rocks etc. I guess what was televised portion was not as boring. The other bad thing was the long delay between the two games on Sunday it could have been recorded and played later as it is done hundreds of time . There was not a lot of out of town people that stayed around for the last game because they had checked out of hotel etc. and had no place to go to kill time for that length of time.

We went to three events, the was curling was really fun to watch. There wasn't many people there, which made us wonder how well it was promoted. Plus, being out in Langley would make it very difficult for people to commute there. We drove over the Golden Eagle Bridge which was convenient for us but getting out of the parking lot was a nightmare on Sat night.

not what we expected. May have been better if we knew rules before we started. Never did figure out exactly what was going on. Too expensive to watch 2 curlers throw 5 rocks per end. Odd/ even ends should have been reversed on ice so finish was at end where spectators seated.

You can definitely see the finesse of the game in a skin's competition when you match top notch teams such as Martin and Ulsrud. They came to entertain the fans and have some fun and that's exactly what they did!
