I skipped the midway (the boing boing looked interesting) in favor of waiting in the stands enjoying lunch. When the riders come out it is a rush for this farmboy. The cowboys and lady riders were strong, confident, and showed great skill. For a rodeo, I enjoyed this as much as the bigger shows.

Excellent day out would recommend this to anyone. Ticket price for rodeo includes entrance to fairgrounds but rides etc are extra (as you would expect). The rodeo events were excellent and the variety of events makes it a great day out. Riding displays were very good too and the clowns keep the kids amused.

The rodeo and all attractions were good. There seemed to be more rides and attractions for children which was also good. General feeling was positive.
The only criticism I have is that there were only GARBAGE cans for disposal. When we are all so focused on recycling and going green, I would have thought there would be bins for pop cans and bottles; paper only bins and garbage cans for everything else. It was done at the Olympics and I thought that was great.
All in all a good event!

so happy to see a lot of animal, if they can provide a pony or donkey ride it will be more fun, kids always love to keep in touch with animals.

The talent that was displayed at the rodeo was amazing. A petting zoo, amusement park rides and games, a CCR cover band, beer gardens, mechanical bull and great people only made it better!

Great Event! I live in neighborhood and have never gone. I have been missing out. Tough cowboys winning big purses and the clowns were awesome.

My husband and I, had never been to a rodeo so we decided to take our four year old son...we invited my sister, my brother-in-law and 14 year nephew. We all really enjoyed it. The commentator was funny and most he kept the jokes clean.
The tickets at Will Call were a bit of a hassle to get...it seems that none of the event staff knew where to pick up tickets...we were pointed in three different directions. It would be helpful next time to have a Will Call right outside the Stetson Bowl gates....other than that we look forward to going again next year.

When the Cloverdale Rodeo comes, can summer be far behind?
For 50 years I have followed this Rodeo and loved every year of it.
I would love to see the "traditional" Rodeo back again but I have been pleasantly surprised by the new format - it is just too short.

Was extremely impressed with the quality of cowboys and rodeo stock. Surpasses anything I've seen in BC and alot of USA state rodeos---On line with quality of Calgary Stampede
