Favourite moment: Varner vs Shalorus was a back and forth brawl that kept me on my toes, literally. Otherwise I give it to to chris horodecki with his rear naked choke. @

wec and ufc should make edmonton a continuous market, we all love mma! the event was crazy though, I was impressed with mostly the entire night. there were a few slow moments but its bound to happen every now and then. All 8 of the people I was with had a GREAT time and have all agreed on buying tickets for the next event to come to Alberta. Awsome technical striking from a lot of these light fighters, this made for some good all around battles. If I remember correct, there was only one KO though. More is always better, but the fights entertained me so much that I was just happy watchin it. BRING US THE UFC!!

Amazing show all around. Great fights, great venue, great ticket prices. we had amazing seats and it didnt break the bank the get them. i would travel to 6 hrs for another wec event in a heart beat.

This was a first rate event, and I think it more then verifies that Edmonton could and should have a UFC event in the not to distant future. One major flaw though, the judging was very suspect.

I've been to 5 UFC events now, and this was my first live WEC event.
I can not recommend WEC enough.
The lighter weight classes provide much more exciting fights, and the cost to go to an event is MUCH lower than their sister promotion (UFC).

I drove 14 hours (each way) to attend this event, and couldn't be happier that I did! Totaly worth it!

The Show from start to finish was amazing! I think the show was a huge success and I hope it returns! I think Edmonton showed that we can support the MMA community and we are ready to host a UFC Event!!

The cage camera crew should stand at cage posts, rather than in the middle of the fencing.

We really enjoy the WEC it was our first time to see that. It was a very nice father day gift from my wife.
The only thing surprise the crowd and us was the last fight The NUT BEATER was not disqualify. After hitting the other fighter three time in his private part.
Yes, I would love to go back again and see the WEC. Thank you for having WEC in Edmonton.

The atmosphere was awesome. The people were great. Bruce Buffer was a very nice dude, all the refs, the Cutman they all talked to people and mingled. Kenflo was cool. I got to meet Tracy Lee! She was awesome, what a nice lady.
