The games were excellent! There was one blow-out and one tedious ending but most games could have gone either way and weren't decided until that last-seconds-deliberate-fouling- was over. In one game both teams were deliberately fouling. What un! We don't see that in hockey.
The bands, the cheer teams, the dangerous lifting: it all added to the excitement.

Even without Gonzaga it was a great session! There was a circus-like atmosphere and an infectious raucousness suffused the place.
Great games, great finishes, yelling fans, hot dogs, balloons, and inside the building it was even better!

Unforgettable weekend at March 21-23 in Detroit at NCAA Men's Basketball Championship. Would highly recommend attending tournament to any basketball fan if its in your area. Good seats located upper deck ( 8th row) on the corner.

We all had a great time!! Except for the BOZOS sitting behind us, who were drunk and argumentative with other people sitting near to them. Never witnessed anything like that at any event in Toronto.

Another terrific presentation by the City of Syracuse, The Carrier Dome and the NCAA.
Excellent games, all seats are good viewing, in my opinion. Only the lack of an out of town scoreboard made many fans checking their Blackberry’s, miss some of the action.
Traffic control and both Syracuse police and University police presence ensured safety and comfort.

We were sitting in the risers at the end and we were unable to watch the game at court level because the seats in front of us were not lowered enough.

The semis were great entertainment back to back. Just the atmosphere of the teams Bands, the cheerleaders, the mascots and just the actual teams playing. The crowds got into a cheering match which was really great.

First time I have got to the NCAA first and second round games, went to San Jose, excellent bball and venue, buddies and I had a blast. The HP Pavillion has a great HD screen but they don't use it to full benefit. During all those time outs would have liked to see the scores of the other games more often, in fact would really have liked to see some highlights from the other games that were going on during the time outs as well. Can't CBS figure this out? Or at a minimum show some replay highlights from the current game, you could even throw in a commercial or two to cover it. This is the only complaint I have, its a lot of downtime in the time outs, first day we didn't bring anything to read, the next day we brought newspapers was better (especially since they don't sell beer!).

Three things stand out that made my experience at the first two rounds of the 2010 NCAA tournament in Spokane amazing. First the city and her people were terrific hosts -- the warm hospitality, welcoming spirit, and great personal interest in those of us from out of town was genuine and appreciated. Second, the eight teams provided an exciting and thrilling six games of March Madness. Although the Friday games were not close at the end (the exception being New Mexico State almost coming all the way back on Michigan State), each game was exciting and fun to watch. The Saturday games however were exactly what the every basketball fan wanted -- two 4 vs 5 games where a team went up early and the other team climbed back in and made it a game to the end. The buzzer beater for MSU was almost topped by the OT thriller in the Purdue game. Finally, Spokane Arena was wonderful. Although they could have done a smoother job of the transition between sessions 1 and 2 on Friday (not enough time, poor communication about which entrances we could re-enter) overall the setting, experience, and value was above average.

We could just not believe our luck to see the number one seed Wildcats at New Orleans. This was by far the best group of teams that we have seen. All the games were exciting, with the CATS putting on a show. I did feel a little sorry for the Longhorns, but the Deacons deserved the victory.

Spokane, WA March 19th & 21st. Great site, awesome basketball. Only complaint was that NCAA regulations do not allow spectators to leave the building during the 25 minute break between session games. We were told by Spokane Arena staff that this is NCAA policy as the NCAA is concerned that spectators at the session's first game could leave the building and resell their ticket to someone else outside for the second game. This is an issue which could be easily solved by cordoning off areas similar to professional basketball or hockey events.

Great event - with great basketball and lots of fun. The only negative thing that I have to say is that the area should not have sold tickets for seats that are directly behind the net. You pay hugh dollars to see an event like this you don't want to be sitting behind the net where you can't see either team score. Anyway, we ended up moving to different seats that made the trip.
