I'd never been to Qwest Field. What a magnificent facility! The game was exciting, as the Sounders kept pushing hard and making some great saves, though ManU always had the edge.
My lasting impressions, though, were two non-game-related things: (1) how efficient the stadium staff and traffic police were in moving 67,000 people in and out of the facility and the area; and (2) how good-natured and friendly the crowd was. Lots of mixed groups of fans - a patchwork of red and green - and no hostility that I saw. Congratulations, Seattle!
