We watched Finland play Ontario Exhibition. Both teams were fast, skilled at passing, and positioning. The Finns were especially good on puck handling down low. They showed a new look on their power play, sending a four man rush up the ice with one D trailing. The four penetrated the zone and surprised Ontario, but only managed to get 2 goals. Ontario has all the skills plus superior size. In many situations both offensive and defensive they just overpowered the Finns and pushed them out of the play. The got 4 goals.

A fantastic game with a great result. When this event returns next year I would recommend it to anyone but only for the MTS Centre (playoff and medal round) games. If you are buying individual "rush" seats for the preliminary Iceplex games be prepared to have an obstructed view seat.

Absolutely enjoyed the game and all the staff were awesome. My son totally enjoyed the entire evening. The only negative that I can think of is when the prizes were being tossed out they went to the same section everytime....spread it out a little....

It was an amazing event to be a part of. Patriotism was evident throughout the game with cheering fans and a sea of red and white! Glad we could be a part of this event and absorb the energy in the arena!

This Gold Medal Game was spectacular. My husband and I attended along with our 11 year old grandson. We all enjoyed this game immensley. The penalty shot was extremely exciting - after scoring the goal - there were high fives all around and the noise level at this point must have been right of the scale. Will not miss next year's games.

As in the title, the game was an World Class event. The game was exiting, the crowd was great one could not asked for more. This is the first time we went to a hockey game at the arena our seats were good, but we were very close to the railing, we had no room at all for leg space or even foot space, very uncomfortable. The couple beside us also complained on the seating. I wasn't impressed on the contest games, and I have no idea on the 5 people who won the watches, they just stood in line and received their watches, what was that all about? The little tyke teams that came out onto the ice was so entertaining and we really enjoyed watching and cheering for them. The 50/50 draw was execelent, even though the terminals were down to 1 and my husband waiting quite a while in line. All in All it was amazing.

The hockey was unbelieveably fast and action packed. The venue made the experience so up close and personnal that you felt like you were right in the game! The benches are a little tall but still gave us enough space to be comfortable. I wish I would've attended all of the games at the Iceplex. It's unforgettable!

I know it's very difficult to have a perfect sound system but I believe that having additional speakers in corners could possible be of help.

This was very good fast hockey. I especially like that there is no fighting just good fast hockey.
The facility was bright and clean although the accoustics at the Ice Plex was not the best or else they had the micrphone too loud.

My family really enjoyed the hockey. Fast pace, hard hitting. The only thing we H-A-T-E-D was the photographers constant flashing was giving everyone a headache. How are you supposed to enjoy an event WE payed good money to watch when all you saw was Flash!! Flash!! Annoying...
