Attending Smokey's concert was a great and refreshing experience. He sang standards and songs from when he was with The Miracles to his current songs. I love (aka My Sweet Baby) and his concert was proof that I don't have to "Shop Around " to look for a better performer. When he sings "You've Really Got a Hold On Me", "I Second that Emotion". No single person has a stronger hold on me. The performance was like a "Quiet Storm"--smooth and sexy, yet powerful and strong. Anytime he sings, I feel like he's singing just to me like we're "One Heartbeat" and it brings an overall good sensation all around me. Just "Being With You" sums it all up. When the time come for me to leave the concert, I'm sure you can see the "Tracks of my Tears". Our short backstage time together was phenomenal. Smokey treats everybody with such kindness and genuine appreciation; however I am sure in my heart that he was saying to himself all along..."Just to See Her". I'll be "Cruisin" around searching for his next local performance. The next time Smokey's in town, be sure to check out his show. If you don't fall in love with the man AND the performance, I'll have "Tears of a Clown".. I am SURE that you will find Smokey Robinson to be one of the best (if not THE best) performers around. Don't miss out!!! When I saw you backstage Smokey you touched me the moment that I looked into your georgeous eyes and I was captured by the gaze that caught me by surprise. I love you Smokey from the bottom of my heart.
