Getting up close and personal to the players during their practice round was wonderful - great experience. Most were very friendly and willing to take time to sign autographs or just say hi. It was disappointing however, that not all would during the round, including some of the big ones like Phil and Tiger. They did after the round but not during which would have made it easier for their fans. Not sure why as they had lots of time before the next players came along - even if it was only a few signatures at each hole.
We know this is how the players make their living but it was a little disappointing that there is not more interaction between the players - at least there was not during Thursday play when we were there. Maybe there will be more interaction as the weekend progresses. Also, disappointed that there were not more companies with displays like there is at the Phoenix Open.
