An absolutely, unforgettable experience!! The show was filled with incredible talent, from the choir, the soloists, the orchestra, the band, the conductors, the children's choir, and Ruben Studdard!!

This was the 3rd year we have attended the Singing Christas Tree, and I will be at all future events as it is the most amazing and beautiful musical production that all can enjoy over the holiday season. It is truly awsome!

I have to say that I was a little disappointed that the dedicated singers in the Tree didn't sing as much as I would have liked. They backed up a number of other singers but I went to see the "singing Christmas Tree" and felt that they were not featured enough. With John Cameron performing as much as he did and taking centre stage, it felt more like The John Cameron Show, which I did NOT pay to see, nor would I pay to see. The dancing Santas were great, the 12 days of Christmas was great but I didn't think it was nearly as uplifting as it could have been and were in fact a number of sad and depressing parts. It would have been nice if the show ended with The Tree singing "We Wish You a Merry Christmas" and/or a medley of happy Christmas songs. All in all, I was disappointed and doubt that I will return.

Our second year attending, and overall we were not disappointed. This year we invited an older couple to share the experience with us. The only downside was that the volume in some of the numbers was uncomfortably loud, to the point where the sound was a bit distorted up in the second balcony..... we sat in the front row of the 2nd balcony. They won't back because of that, but we will. However, just want to report that the drums and some of the brass were so loud that the vocals were drowned out. Maybe a little toning down for next year?
Other than that, the quality of the performances was top notch, and very entertaining.

My family and I loved the show. If you did not walk away with the Christmas spirit in you and what Christmas is really all about then you are related to the Grinch or Scrooge. Will definitely go back next year.

Talent was amazing and humanity was humbling. Lovely visuals, powerful voices - an event that brought both tears and laughter to everyone in our party.

Edmonton has amazing creative talents that were displayed in this excellent production.
The comedian was 'so-so" - his reference to Texas and Alberta being alike because we both like beer was somewhat in poor taste for a Christmas production.
The production missed the Christmas mark - no mention of the birth of Jesus Christ, the primary reason Christmas is celebrated or the greatest gift of all that He offers to the entire community and human race. .

We were extremely disappointed in the production. Although the guests were certainly talented we were there to see a Christmas show and in particular to hear the Singing Christmas Tree. It was in no way a traditional Christmas concert in the way in which it originated nor did we have the opportunity to really listen to the music of the Christmas Tree. The very little we did hear them left us really wanting to hear more - too bad it never happened. Will not go back until it returns to the original format it began with.

A wonderful 2 and a half hour plus performance that was very entertaining with singing, comedy, dancing and the orchestra. It was a great family Christmas event. Glad we went!

The show was fabulous! Wish the Singing Christmas did more singing though.
There seems to be more emphasis on the guest performers. And I found the show to be a little bit too loud at times.
Also, not enough traditional Christmas carols were sung.
But John Cameron produced a terrific show this year and I will continue to enjoy the Singing Christmas Tree year after year. A new tradition to be sure.

Overall, was a fun entertaining event.
One thing, definately not enough of the tree, especially in the 2nd half.
Would also be nice if more songs reflected the true meaning of Christmas.
Also, it was hard to hear the backup singers, childrens choir if they didn't have a mic, and even the tree; not sure if the instruments were too loud or not enough mic's.
One last thing, a little too much of the same singers, maybe utilize some more local talented singers.
All in all, I will go again next year; a fun way to celebrate the season.

The event was breath-taking although there were times that the music was too loud and not enjoyable. The lighting was exquisite and the entertainment diverse. Would of enjoyed more singing from the choir and less from the director. On the whole a very enjoyable event and would go again.

There are places in the world that everyone should see at least once in their lifetime. There are events that everyone should attend at least once in their lifetime. Everyone who celebrates Christmas must see a Singing Christmas tree at least once in their lifetime and then see it again with their children. The Edmonton Singing Christmas Tree is an amazing Christmas experience. It touches the heart, it reaches the soul, it soothes, it excites, it may make you cry, it will make you smile and laugh and it makes you fly. The Presentation rivals anything you see on PBS specials and it should be a PBS Christmas special.

I enjoyed the show immensely but think it was better last year and more child friendly than this year. Love the 12 days of Christmas with the fellows - very well done. Songs were a little on the slower side this year so I would have mixed them up a bit better - the end was kind of boring as the songs were slow.

Performance was excellent, and John Cameron, Donovan Robinson and Immanuel Fonte had a great vision of bringing the Singing Christmas Tree back. Also it was great to see them honour Rev. and Mrs. Taitinger founders of the tree. Also done for great causes.

The Singing Christmas Tree is a must see to get one into the Christmas Spirit. Very talented musicians, great orchestra, enjoyed the ballet performance and the artistic dance. The choice of music was satisfactory, however would have enjoyed more Christmas Carols. Also perhaps more emphasis could have been placed on the true meaning of Christmas. The comedian was not a fit for this performance in any way, could easily be taken out. The performance was quite long, possibly 2 hours max. would suffice.
We were not impressed with the parkade, no attendants to direct traffic. Took approximately 45 minutes to exit. Will avoid parking there again.
I will however consider this to be an annual event for me and my family to attend.
