I enjoyed the opening band as well as Blue Rodeo. They show great potential. The blue rodeo as usual were outstanding. I am always amazed at their incredible talent. The solo highlights were wonderful and beyond belief. The piano, guitar and violin solos were spectacular. The singing was great. The band seemed to be really happy and enjoying their work on stage.

Favourite moment: Of course it was when the entire audience stood up to dance and sing to their classics. A concert where you can actually participate is the best! @
Opening act(s): Cuff the Duke and their lead singer Wayne Petti were outstanding. You can tell this is a band that will go a long, long way. I look forward to attending many of their concerts in the future and made sure to pick up their CD to enjoy at my leisure. @

Blue Rodeo consistently delivers the best quality in a music experience. They touch the hearts and minds of all their audience and take us on a roller coaster ride from their tried and true classics to their new and innovative music masterpieces. I love how they have not changed the quality of their concerts from the first time I saw them 20 years ago.
The songs from their new record seem to be more thought provoking but what makes them so special is that you always get that variety with Blue Rodeo. Music that highlights the talents and expertise of each of their members.
Calgary loves Blue Rodeo and always will - they are our top Canadian band!

The band was phenomenal live! Their opening act was really enjoyable to listen to. The venue was gorgeous and everything was well organized. There is nothing like sitting on a blanket in the sun, with a great band playing and the mountains as their backdrop! Can't wait to see who else will play at this venue! What a great way to spend an afternoon/evening!

I had an awesome time with my boyfriend at this event. The weather turned out to be pretty good, the opening band was good and there weren't TOO many lines!

This was honestly just a concert that I went to because of my mom. Well I was not expecting to be thrilled with the performances of the bands, but the musicianship was phenomenal. The fact that these guys have managed to stay together so long without killing each other is an accomplishment, let alone bringing an enthusiastic performance to the table each and every night. I thought that Cuddy, the drumming and piano playing were particularly inspired. I would recommend this show to any conservative rock listener for sure.

They sounded as good as always! I've seen them about 5 times and they still sound great!
Venue was cool with 360 degree mountains but the setup for sitting didn't really allow visibiity for the stage from all the seats.

As an avid, lifelong fan of Blue Rodeo, I was beyond excited to attend their concert at the Banff Centre Amphitheatre. To say it was AMAZING is an understatement. I would highly recommend the venue & will continue to be one of the loudest, proudest fans of Blue Rodeo.

Once again, Blue Rodeo showed up and put on a great show! What a location! Good music, mountains all around and the weather was awesome.
Jimmy was on stage through out the show, but Greg seemed to step off every three songs or so. I am hoping there is a simple reason like a simple cold or other minor thing. Regardless, kudos for him still putting on a show. (I hope all is well with Greg!)
Song selection was great, starting out with some songs from Casino and then onto some of their newer songs. Jim's rendition of After the Rain was amazing.
Only comments on that would have made a good concert great was the length of the show, a bit short when compared to previous Blue Rodeo events. Second would be the location of the stage. When the sun sets, its right in your eyes so trying to see the band on stage is hard. Near impossible if you didn't have sun glasses!
Overall, great show. Come back again soon guys!

Blue Rodeo was amazing, the Banff Centre was incredible, seeing Blue Rodeo with the mountains and sunset, it was beautiful! I really wished you could have brought your drink with you. That was the only complaint but in the end, you saved me money and a hangover

Blue Rodeo has been my favourite band for 23 years, and it amazes me how they keep on getting better and better! Jim Cuddy's vocals always blow me away, but he was in PEAK form at this event! The venue was beautiful, the atmosphere was electric yet relaxed - I've never been more entertained; however, this is what I've come to expect from these guys - I've not been disappointed yet.

What an amazing concert. Blue Rodeo never fails to amaze me, but the venue took this concert to a whole new level! Small, intimate, not a bad seat in the ampitheater! Blue Rodeo is such a truly genuine Canadian band and they make sure thier fans love every minute of thier performance. the Rockies as the backdrop made this concert a Canadian Dream!

This was the 6th time I've had the priviledge of seeing Blue Rodeo and was by far my favourite show thus far! Jim Cuddy's voice always gives me goosebumps and I love their 10 minute solos. :)
The venue was INCREDIBLE! I would definitely return!

Once again, B. Rodeo does a fine job with the new keyboard dude (fantastic) and Cuddy and Keelor as good as ever. Malkan Bowl speaker sound is always a bit off with the vibrating tremors in the scaffolding but that didn't deter from a great gig....
Thanks once again boys (& lady) for performing magnificently! Nice to see Barney Bentall up their for some tunes - awesome.

Concert was fantastic! After the Rain (my favourite Blue Rodeo song) was so moving. Best rendition of Dark Angel I have ever seen! His voice is fantastic. Loved the venue, outside under the moonlight. Love how they played all the hits! Also love that I bet my friend they would play Lost Together as the last song in the encore and I won the bet!

A fabulous nite with clear skies and a near-full moon. A great salad bowl of hits from guests and members of Blue Rodeo. Worth every penny. The crowds were full and havin' a great time. Jim Cuddy nearly went hoarse again, beltin" out the tunes with a smile. Even the usually quiet Basil Dunovan went crazy with some riffs on the bass guitar. It was a real treat.

this has become an annual event for me - Blue Rodeo - outside - Stanley Park - what a great summer evening- moon/stars/ great fans and the band always seems to enjoy the gig as much as the audience!!!!!!!! they were giving it on Saturday night - just keep getting better - played so many favorites - I love how they bring everyone on stage to end the show - and how they enjoy sharing the stage with lesser known artists - lots of dancing too

I had purchased tickets for my husband and I to attend the Blue Rodeo concert. It was to celebrate our 7 year wedding anniversary. It was the best concert we have EVER been to. They played every one of our favorite songs.

What can I say about Blue Rodeo, they come into town, they blow me away every time, this is my 43rd show..they just get better and better. Even though Greg had an ear infection and didn't play all the time, Colin Krips filled out and did an amazing job as well. Jim's solo on After the Rain...superb...truly superb. I thought they had brought back Bobby Wiseman on keyboards but turns out it was there producer Mike...he was fantastic and I would love to see him play again...Jim was actually dancing on stage which in all the years, I've never seen him get that into it...FANtastic. 1.5 hours just flew by and I could have sat there all night and watched them. I can't wait to see them again.

Blue Rodeo still rocks it out. Jim was terrific and Greg still rocks. THey were joined on stage by a cast of the fabulous including Barney Bentall. Best of all, Greg sang Dark Angel and I haven't heard him do it for nearly 20 yeasrs live. Amazing.Can't wait for next year in Vancouver.
