I enjoyed the opening band as well as Blue Rodeo. They show great potential. The blue rodeo as usual were outstanding. I am always amazed at their incredible talent. The solo highlights were wonderful and beyond belief. The piano, guitar and violin solos were spectacular. The singing was great. The band seemed to be really happy and enjoying their work on stage.

Favourite moment: Of course it was when the entire audience stood up to dance and sing to their classics. A concert where you can actually participate is the best! @

Opening act(s): Cuff the Duke and their lead singer Wayne Petti were outstanding. You can tell this is a band that will go a long, long way. I look forward to attending many of their concerts in the future and made sure to pick up their CD to enjoy at my leisure. @

Blue Rodeo consistently delivers the best quality in a music experience. They touch the hearts and minds of all their audience and take us on a roller coaster ride from their tried and true classics to their new and innovative music masterpieces. I love how they have not changed the quality of their concerts from the first time I saw them 20 years ago.

The songs from their new record seem to be more thought provoking but what makes them so special is that you always get that variety with Blue Rodeo. Music that highlights the talents and expertise of each of their members.

Calgary loves Blue Rodeo and always will - they are our top Canadian band!

I was suprised how well the band sounds live. I am not a huge fan, but I enjoy listen their songs any time. I would have loved if the band members were presented one at a time. The bassist was in a shadow most of the time. I would have loved to hear some of the stories behind the songs...I would have loved to hear the song "Try" - such a great song should be played every concert.

Overall it was a great experience for me and my partner!

BTW....that rug on the stage looked pretty bad from balcony view

Had a very good time overall. The opening band was great, and Blue Rodeo was pretty fantastic.

I love seeing shows at Hamilton Place, the sound is great and it's more personal watching there.

Would go again!

Once again, another great show by Blue Rodeo. A great mix of old songs and new songs. The opening act - The Dustin Bentall Outfit - was also enjoyable. Blue Rodeo does a great job of selecting talented opening acts and making them part of the show.

I thought the opening act was awesome. The Outfit (I believe they were called) were upbeat, they had very catchy songs, and the fiddle player was unbelievable.

Blue Rodeo...I love these guys...did not play their best. The keyboard player was unbelievable. Jim's singing was awesome. Greg was off all night. And the chemistry between Jim and Greg was off. Small mistakes were noticed, but not major.

The music was terrific as always. This would never deter me from seeing it again, and it would also not deter me from recommending them to others.

I had the fortunate luck of seeing Blue Rodeo on Saturday March 13th at Hamilton Place...they did a fantastic job. I forgot what amazing musicians they are. They sounded amazing and they played straight for almost 2 hours! I really enjoyed them! I also enjoyed when they highlighted a member of the band's "solo" they all stepped aside to allow that member to have his moment! It was so awesome!

I also enjoyed the fact that they had additional musicians joining them onstage and added to their already amazing band! It was fantastic.

I would definitely recommend seeing them!!!!

I also Loved how they supported Canadian musicians by having unknowns open for them! I enjoyed the opening act of Dustin Bentley so much we bought the cd.

Hamilton Place was a great venue...however...it was VERY hot in the hall...but that was the only thing that I didn't enjoy...it was too hot...but...sound was great!

This was the 3rd time I have seen Blue Rodeo and was the best so far. They played a great selection of songs, sound was good. I would see them again in a heart beat!

Blue Rodeo was awsome...we enjoyed all of their music old and new...the place was rockin it was a great show and we see them again in a heart beat.
(I'm not usually a complainer but there was some problem with fans standing and dancing right in front of of the stage obstucting the view of people who paid $$$$ to sit at the front . Maybe being right at the stage is ok at an arena but it certainly doesn't work in a venue like Hamilton Place..Blue Rodeo's security should have been on those ignorant people... immediatley....especiaqlly that one girl who seemed to be the leader of th pack There was a lot of distraction and tension in the audience because of it...thank-you Jimm Cutty for taking care of it)

I have several albums and have always wanted to se them live.The band has a huge catalogue to chose from which left me not knowing many the songs. As well they did several songs from the new record which I don't have. They are fantastic live! The sound at Hamilton Place is incredible! They are able to get the audience to sing along with many of thier songs which gives you a great feeling of being a part of the music. I wish there was more room to move around because ,I don't dance but really wanted to. You know what I mean?

I just wanted to hear the good old Blue Rodeo tunes the way they recorded them. I felt like I was at a practice jam session instead of a concert. Couldn't hear the vocals over the loud instrumentals. Nice touch with the fiddle and cello, I liked that. Generally my husband and I (late 50's were disappointed. We didn't stay for the encore.

This was a great exhibit of Blue Rodeo's new & classic music. The vocals were awesome and the instrumentals were even more amazing. Gold Medal to Blue Rodeo and the Outfit.

Amazing Concert. Great mix of old, new, Jim and Greg. Fantastic back up musicians. What can I say Jim Cuddy's vocals have gotten better with the years. A timeless band Canadians should be proud of!

it was great to see the guys together again and performing at their best. the combination of their new stuff and their signature classics was a great mix. good band to open the show. the venue is among the best i've ever been at

Seen them play better. Everyone has an off night, I guess. Enjoyed them back in the day when they were a great bar band. Too much filler music. Just make it simple!

This was probably the worst concert we have attended. Its pretty bad when the lead singer of the band forgot the words to every second song played. On top of that the overall sound was horrible, especially the bass drum, which at times was all you heard!

I would say about 4 songs out there entire performance was worth clapping for.

We were very disappointed with the performance.
