When Mr.Numan opened his show with "Airlane" on this memorable Sunday evening I was a little bit worried as I had just read of the cancellation of his Atlanta show due to a complete loss of voice. And of course Airlane, from The Pleasure Principle,is a instrumental so naturally I thought his voice was again suffering.I was incorrect in my assuption. On this night Mr.Numan did a nice cross-section of newer and older tunes including: Are 'Friends' Electric,Sacrifice (my favorite of the night),Down In The Park, M.E. and of course the crowd pleaser Cars, to name only a few of this wonderful evening's set. This tour is the celebration of the 30th anniversary of the album "The Pleasure Principle" and seeing how Gary is not a nostalgic kind of bloke it was great to hear this album in its entirity. In closing I would like to thank Gary Numan and Nash The Slash for this very memorable evening as well as Noel (the promoter) for bringing these two old friends together for one out-standing show. And I hope Gary will come back soon!!
