The boys were at there best. The small venue catered to the dedicated fans of the hip. Performing songs from the new albulm and songs not commonly played and the acoustic set was amazing. i have seen the hip several times and have never been disapointed but seeing them in at Massey Hall was a more interactive and personal show. I would rush to to get tickets for a similar show any time

We had front row seats for the Monday nite show and upper balcony for the Thursday show. The smaller venue was amazing and from the front row, you can really appreciate how totally cool Gord Downie is to watch. The show was spectacular and a lot of fun to boot! Highly recommed the Hip as a band to see live and I can't wait for them to come back to Massey Hall!

The set lists were different for each show so it's like a new show everytime you see them and if we could have afforded going to each show that week, would have done so in a heart beat. The Hip Rules!

The Hip were tons of fun! Upbeat, great performance. Even the song I'm not a huge fan of were fantastic live. The fans were great too and there was a good, reasonably priced selection of merch.

Great show. I've seen the hip more than 10 times and they were wonderful as always. Energetic, fun, over-the-top. Plus they always make sure to do the fan favourites. The real treat of this show was the Arkells. They put on a really good performance. It's also surprising how many of their songs are recognizable from radio play. The combination of both bands made for a great night out.

After seeing these guys perform twice in the past 15 years, my wife l and Iooked forward to another great show from The Tragically Hip. Unfortunately, Gordon Downie's antics clashed with the overall sound. The lyrical delivery was so persistently disjointed, the smooth Canadian feel of many songs was lost. Gord's vocal-liberties were too out-of-place with the rest of the music. I know Gord likes to act silly while performing, but we weren't sure what he was trying to do on stage, although it seemed as if he set out to make singing along nearly impossible. There was nothing redeeming about his singing until about three quarters into the show when they performed Bobcaygeon - the crowd erupted at the mention of Toronto, and The Hip played and finally sang respectably while the cheering continued right into the encore, but overall this show was a letdown.

what a good valentines day tripping around toronto hearing all the hip fans gettn ready to have a rockn good time! Concert was pretty good but i think gordie was a little messed up....more than me lol but over all i would definatly see the hip again, most likely another outdoor summer event like butlers barracks. THAT ROCKED MY SUMMER! Always looking to see what up next.You rock PEACE ....

This was my third time seeing The Tragically Hip. Best show by far. The crowd was fully into the music from the very beginning, everyone was on their feet for the entire show. The band rocked it out playing classics and more recent material. Great encore set too!!!! Can't wait to see them again!

Seen them once 12 years ago and they were as good today as they were then!!
They have been one of my favs for over 20 years!! Would have like to hear 38 years old though...that and Fiddlers Green are my two favorite songs.

Great night with the Hip. Came out and belted all their favourites. Crowd in TO loved it took. Sad they didn't play New Maybe or Darkest One, but hard to play every good song in only 2 hours. I say, let them rock for 4!

the arkells came out to a cool but gathering crowd with lead singer max kerman leading a strong set with special mention for a rousing champagne socialist and personal favourite the ballad of hugo chavez. the acc carried the playing harmonica with smooth transitions and a well met pillar of intent. strong opening! my first time seeing the arkells live did not disappoint and the big back drop kinda made it more complete. kerman closed the show with a triumphant pump and assured that crowd that the arkells would be at it for many years to come. The set was a great intro to the hip and even better for interested fans.

The hip might be older but they still got it!! So talented and nonstop entertainment! Great songs and were very engaged with the audience/fans. Definitely would see them again!

Instrumentally the band was awesome. Strong,tight, clear and plenty loud. The singing on the other hand was terrible. Very bad timing thoughout the night. I understand little changes and how you don't want to sound exactly like the record but the screaming and late cues and rushing through verses to me ruined it all. Too bad for my anticipation was high that night and I think Gord Downie was too.
