Collective Soul never disappoints. They're one of those bands that really know how to connect to their audience. Ed Roland had everyone singing and clapping to an amazing line-up of hits. We were also treated to a few soon-to-be released (soon-to-be hit) songs.

The energy of these guys is amazing --Ed must have burned more than 1000 calories busting moves on stage. These guys love what they do and that translates into great tunes and an awesome night for all.

This is the 3rd time I've seen Collective Soul and they did not disappoint. As a matter of fact
it was my favorite show of the three.They are getting better as the years rock n roll on.

I'm on the fence about how to review this show. If I approach it solely on the show, the band, the music, and the crowd, this was 5-stars all the way. I've been a fan of Collective Soul since the early 90s, and have seen them multiple times in concert. They still bring the energy on stage, and simply rock it. It's amazing how many huge hits they have. Just when I thought they had played all the great songs, they whipped out another I had forgotten about.

Where my issue lays is how this show was advertised. The whole tour was being billed as "An Evening With", or Dosage Tour 2012. A first set playing Dosage top-to-bottom, and a 2nd set of hits. Being low on cash, this was the kicker to make me buy tickets this time around. Dosage was a favourite disc of mine, and has some great songs that they don't play live. There was no mention that Vancouver was not "part of the tour". Heck, the T-shirts being sold outside were all for Dosage Tour 2012 (I'm wearing one as I type this). With no opening band, I was expecting the 2 1/2 hour show that everyone else got.

What we got was still a fantastic show, but having seen them live several times, if I had known it was a "regular" concert, I would have passed on this tour and waited for the 20-year Tour in 2013.

I have been a Collective Soul fan forever. This is my third time seeing them live and once again they did not dissapoint. They were amazing. Great show live. Played all their hits and sound just as good live as on CD. They promised they would be back next year and I will be there!

I have been a fan since I was a teenager, and I have to say it took a while for me to finally get to see these guys live. The first time I saw them was at the Commodore in 2010, which happened to be the opening night of the Olympics. They were so awesome! This was my second time seeing them and I have to say, if I could attend a Collective Soul every weekend, I would. These guys really know how to put on a great show and I am so excited about next year being their 20th anniversary. You can be sure that I will be there! Rock on Collective Soul!

Watched the show for the second time in a year. Good, not great. Music tends to blend, the songs flow rather than being clears riffs and breaks, so it loses some impact. Main vocals are vet good, but backing is lacking in many songs. You wonder why more of them aren't involved. Still well worth seeing.

As always, CS put on a great show at the River Rock. Their energy was incredible and they dug out "Where the River Flows" one of my faves but rarely played. They nailed it - it was the best version of the song I heard. They also played Forgiveness, one of the best songs ever. Ed was excited to be back in Vancouver and they announced a new album, 20th anniversary, and tour for 2013 and Vancouver will be on the schedule.

I know the casino shows have strict timing - on at 8 off by 10 - but there was enough time to squeeze in a few more songs. Show started late and ended at 0940, so it was about 90 minutes. They can do better than that. That's why it is 4 stars out of 5.

Creative Soul was very jazzed for the event and it showed. High energy, tonnes of creativity and just plain fun. Everyone who wanted to could crowd the stage and dance and the band responded to the feedback.

Sound at this venue was incredible. It never peaked into the uncomfortable range and the engineers did their best to keep it that way. Nice to be at a venue where the engineering team still has some hearing!

Every time Collective Soul plays Vancouver it gets better and better! Totally rocked out and was far more edgier than before. They promised us a new album for next year and will come back to see us. I am counting down the days.

Great group, however the sound quality at this venue was horriable (reminds me of sitting in front of a stereo with blowen speakers) coupled with no place to sit made this concert one of the most forgetable I have seen in years. so bad in fact we left before the first set was over

This was our third Collective Soul concert, and unquestionably the best we've seen. Definitely worth the trip from Victoria, BC, Canada. The sound in The Joint was amazing, what a venue! These guys know how to rock - the light show, the vocals, Ed Rolands unlimited energy and his rapport with the audience - wow! We also loved them at the Commodore Ballroom in Vancouver and hope they will perform there again, but we're talking about making this Las Vegas show an annual event .
Our favorite band on the planet, hands down.

This was my 2nd time seeing Collective Soul & the River Cree & again I enjoyed myself yet again. They put on a great show with wicked awesome music. I appreciate that they choose a venue that doesn't charge an arm & leg to attend. Affordable tickets, great seats & rocking music....nothing better.
