I have seen Riverdance each time it has come to town and this occasion did not disappoint. The same passion, skill and showmanship thrives in these talented dancers and musicians. The show has not changed much from the first time I saw it, they have kept the best elements and continue to tune each performance for the audience's satisfaction.
I hope they come again soon.

Did not think I was going to be that inspired by this show but my daughters, who grew up dancing themselves, my wife and I were amazed at these performers - including the musicians and the groups singing. Everything was spot on! Recommend this show to everyone before they are done with this finale tour - we were in awe...

I had seen Riverdance before and was enthralled. I jumped at the chance to see it again. It was good, but I was somewhat disappointed because it has been changed from a dancing performance, to a one third singing, one third dancing and one third music performance. That is not what I was expecting and what I paid to see. Also we seem to have moved away from the exclusively Irish to include other types of dancing. Not really a good mix in my opinion.

Consider ourselves very fortunate to have been able to see Riverdance on its final tour having seen it once before at the NAC last decade.

The music was very loud and screechy. The singing was not great. The dancing was good but very repetitive.

The show was okay, but not at all what we were expecting to see.
My husband I and I thought it was the ORIGINAL River Dance. Not the case.
Young dancers.
Stage was VERY small at the Sony Centre.
Not impressed with the overall show.

We were very disappointed with this performance. We wanted to see and hear tap dancing at it's best but what we got in the 1st half was 3 dances and some instrumental show. The dancers were terrific but we couldn't hear their taps because the drums overpowered them. The intermission came very shortly after 5 performances and we left!

Awesome show, from the opening mist to the closing ensemble performance. The music alone was amazing, especially the drummer (he was frenetic, like Animal of The Muppets), the fiddler, and he piper. Add the dancers and singers into the mix and it was a complete show. I've wanted to see Riverdance live for a decade after seeing them on a TV special. If you get a chance, don't hesitate: Go see them!

For the price we paid for our tickets, we were a little disappointed with the show overall!
It didn't start on time, and it was done by 9:30! The second half was better than the first half. ....more upbeat! The step dancers, tappers, vocalists, and musicians were great; very talented!!! I guess being Irish and my daughter a step dancer and having already seen Lord of the Dance, we expected somewhat a similar show or a little more!

Although the production was excellent, the cast was smaller than anticipated; about 30 including the musicians. The Irish dancers were about 20 plus 6 singers; not quite the scale seen on the DVD, but enjoyable nonetheless.

Riverdance was everything I had hoped it would be. I am so glad I caught this last tour....too bad they are quitting. Cannot believe people can move their feet so quickly. Very entertaining! Would go again in a heartbeat!
