On December 1st we traveled south to Seattle to watch the Seattle Seahawks take on the Philadelphia Eagles in a Thursday Night Football tilt. Now, while at the start of the season I would have bet the farm on the "Dream Team" Eagles, their recent woes and rash of injuries have left the birds darned close to flightless.
The game itself was a high energy free for all for the hometeam, as they fed off the energy and enthusiasm of the fiathful Seahawk fans. The 12th Man was in full throat Thursday, and their team on the field did not disappoint. Great game.
Coming from Vancouver one must simply remember to give yourself time to get through the border, a good 45, just in case is usually a safe bet, and then for the traffic as it builds around metro Seattle. Doing that will ensure that you will get safely and comfortable to the game prior to kick off, and will allow you to enjoy the game without stressing yourself out too much.
Highly recommend heading down to Seattle to check out an NFL game to anyone who's thinking about it. It's just such a different experience than a CFL game.
