First time at the US Open and I found it was a great experience. Even with last row tickets we have a good view on the court. But you can also go on smaller court and be very close from your favorite players.

Had an amazing day. Got Gen Admission tickets and stayed at Lewis Armstong for most of it. Very very busy though and once you are in you dare not leave and you have to join the back of the line to re-enter and that was a mile long. Next time I would buy a reserved seat at Armstrong.
Great grounds too. Obviously a rip off for food/drink but that is to be expected at events isn't it.

The Tennis was GREAT! However, food ran out many times in Louis Armstrong - I waited over 1 hour just for a hot dog! And the staff I guess was frustrated so they forgot their customer service - including the 'manager'. When you are in the Stadium all day - you get hungry! and you cannot leave to get food outside cause you probably won't get back inside - it was really bad to be hungry and waiting in line so long for one hot dog
Hope to be back next year 0 and bring my own food!

The US open as always is amazing. Of all the grand slam's still my favourite. The grounds pass is an issue as the week goes on,as it becomes more and more difficult to see the matches because of the crowds. All said it's still the greatest value for money. Always an unforgettable experience

I have enjoyed attending this event every year for quite a while. However, the Saturday Sept. 3 night session was very badly handled. The line-ups to get onto the grounds and into the stadium were unacceptable. There was no co-ordination by staff to direct traffic and to get the previous attendees off the grounds and to get the night attendees into the stadium. It took much enjoyment out of the experience. That is before the lineups to get food inside the stadium (lineups at the food court were ridiculous) and the high prices charged. Surely an event of this magnitude get be run better.

Our first trip to Flushing, New York and the US Open was truly a memorable experience. We weren't entirely sure what to expect as we walked towards the US Open grounds, but as we approached we could hear Alicia Keys singing 'New York' and you could start to feel it. As we approached and could finally see the entrance and the grounds, it was quite a feeling and sight to behold. The 'Ralph Lauren' adorned staff were all friendly and welcoming. We stayed all day and were lucky enough to stumble across US player Donald Young battling for 5 sets against Stan Wawrinka. We had great seats on court 17. The pro-Young crown was instrumental in his fifth set comeback and it was quite compelling theatre. We also saw five other matches before we called it a day. We were tired by day's end but felt that we had a great experience.

We original bought tickets that were in the nose bleeds but still good to watch the games and as we walked around the stadium, we had organizer upgrade our seats to courtside. Incredible. That made watching the games most intensive and exceed our expectations. Thanks for the love US OPEN.

My family and I attended the US Open for the first time and were so impressed by the whole venue and staff. Had a great time and got to see Nadal and Williams both crush their opponents. The only downer was that the concession stands seemed to be out of almost everything - Hot chocolate, food, drinks, water, etc.

Having traveled from Canada just for this event, my expectations were pretty high. And I wasn't disappointed! Getting to the venue on public transportation was very easy, fast and efficient. The greeters at the gates were an unexpected delight and the security check points moved quickly. The grounds are beautiful, clean and well laid out. The leader board easy to read, and the tennis was fantastic. it was a first to leave a match at 1:30am! Thank God for the people with the bull horns directing to the right platform for Times Square, because it was confusing!
Great tennis!!! , beautiful weather and well run. Food selections was yummy, easy to get, lots of tables.
Only complaint - not enough stuff to buy....too few vendors for tennis gear etc. Nike I am sure is a sponsor so....but ....Oh and the ear phones from Amex were awesome...great technology. Will Be back.

Brilliant sunshine cast down on the U.S. Open tennis tournament in NYC over the weekend. The Arthur Ashe stadium sold out crowd were treated to three matches that included top seeded players in the world. To kick it off, Kim Clijsters showed why she's a champion with a solid three set win. Next up in stunning red, Venus Williams, another three set match to thrill spectators. The final match of the day, Number one in the World Rafa Nadal vs Gilles Simon. With powerful forehands and lighting fast reflexes, Rafa eliminated Frenchman Simon in 3 straight sets.
A day at the Open is like no other "It Must Be Love"

I have never been to the US Open and convinced my wife to come with me to the evening session on Friday September 3rd. We saw Venus Williams and Rafael Nadal win in straight sets. It is definitely an amazing experience for every sports fan, the atmosphere and crowd are electric!!!

The match was nice, but the people and environment were too noisy and less class. People walked around during the match and talked loudly in the stadium.

Great price for the activities staged - including some big Disney Band names - like Jonas Brothers, Demi Levato, and the new "All Stars Weekend" band. however, the $10 were for "general admission" only and do not have assigned seats - despite what is printed up on the tickets - very misleading! the $20 has assigned seats, but due to inconsistent directions given by the site volunteers - some people with $10 tickets were sitting in the $20 section, so if you have the more expensive tickets, your seats may have been taken by others and you have the hard job of kicking out someone! the assigned seating arrangement was chaotic and made worse by the volunteers who didn't know about the different tickets. the $10 tickets give you access to the farthest upper level seatings, while the $20 would give you seats at the higher level, but good enough for the concert and provide a good view of the court. Otherwise, the free kids' activities in the morning and the afternoon cheap concert were a big hit with my kids! too bad there were not very much tennis related stuff in the stadium - only a few big names who came out to hit a few balls for charities. unfortunately, they did away with the celebrities matches - which were quite entertaining to watch in previous years. this year's show is mainly a showcase for the Disney Bands! so if your kids are into it, they would enjoy it. otherwise, don't go for the tennis. save your money and go to watch the free qualifier on the ground instead.
