Fabulous sets, dancing, characters, choreography, color. The story gripped you and drew you in, the dancing was flawless. Eric Nipp was unforgettable as Zidler.

This is the best classical ballet I've seen. Breathtaking and very kids friendly. My 7 year old daughter was just amazed.

We had the very back seats of the balcony and we couldn't have seen the stage any better. The dance company were spectacular and the music was terrific. My daughter who is eight found it hard to stay awake till the end, but thouroughly loved the ballet.

The principal portion of The Sleeping Beauty was perfectly performed in the classical style which I most enjoy. The costumes befitted the story and the scenery and staging were delightful. Most of the ending, although not truly part of Sleeping Beauty, provided many of the dancers with the opportunity to 'strut their stuff' and was fascinating and a joy to behold. And kudos the orchestra which played so well. Ottawa id blessed to have such a fine local orchestra.

Nice performance, beautiful music, good choreography. My 4 year old loved the ballet, although she fell asleep just before the end because the show started at 8 pm and lasted 2,5 hours.

A wonderful, funny, and truly Canadian production. Costumes, scenery, and dancers all excellent. As an avid Nutcracker viewer, it was disappointing with the recorded music, no orchestra. A couple of times they were off.
But the dancing was spectacular.

I have taken my daughters to the Nutcracker Suite almost every year for the last 30 years. Ten years I took them to the Royal Ballet production in London and we all had agreed that no performance could ever top that one and never did...until this past weekend! This Ballet BC/ Royal Winnipeg production was FANTASTIC! The sets were gorgeous, the costumes were beautiful and the dancing was sublime! Oh, and the bear and little Canadiana touches were precious! This year was my 4 year old granddaughter's first exposure to live ballet and she is hooked!!

I didn't like the piped in music. I think if I had known, I would have chosen the other Vancouver performance, which had an orchestra. Magical nonetheless, but sometimes jolting because of the piped in music

The Ballet was most enjoyable, although some of the supporting dancers were weak - especially the male dancers. I was disappointed that there was no orchestra as this is half the enjoyment of live ballet. The recorded music did NOT enhance the experience.

Sugar plum was fantastic ,Arabian dancers were wonderful,the Godfather was amazing and the mice were cute. Canada and Winnipeg was a wonderful touch.HBC blanket a hallmark of Winnipeg and Canada.RCMP inclusion was also a nice touch.

During intermission there were long line ups with children for the concession. By the time we got our snack and drinks there was no time to consume them. Otherwise we enjoyed the performance very much. We especially liked the Canadian theme.

This performance is really amazing. It worth to watch during Christmas season. The story is happy and the performance is good. You could see elegance, funny as well as vivid.

Enjoyed the nutcracker sooo much it didn't disappoint!! Loved the Canadian twist with the hockey game in the beginning. Also, the music was perfect sound. I really enjoyed the comedy part with the stealing the pudding! Very funny and clever.

We went to see the Nutcracker Ballet for my daughter, she enjoyed it very much. The only cause for alarm I see in the Theater is, if your in the upper mezzanine as we were it is difficult to get a sense of the mastery of the performers. My only regret is that the lower seats were way to expensive. I think they should consider lowering the prices so every seat below would be filled.
