Canada's Davis Cup tie against Italy was a great display of tennis. All sessions were exciting to watch. The partisan crowd (mostly Canadian) brought a lot of drama to the event. The first day Canada won one match and Italy the other. The real cliff-hanger was Saturday's doubles match that went to 28 games (there are no 5th set tie-breaks in Davis Cup tennis) with Canada (Nestor and Pospisil) finally breaking the Italians' (Bracciali & Fognini) serve to take the match 15-to-13 in four and a half hours. With the standing at 2-1 on Sunday Canadian, Milos Raonic took four set to defeat Italy's Andreas Seppi, 6-4, 6-4, 4-6, 7-5, to win the tie. Now they face Serbia in the semifinals in September.

Favourite moment: At the end the Canadian team did a victory dance around the TV crew and Raonic's coach chased him around the court with an open bottle of champagne @
