My daughters (10 & 12 years old) and I have gone to watch the Riggers play once a year for the past 3 or 4 years. We always enjoy the games. My girls comment that they like the high energy, speed and physical nature of the games. We would go to more games, but their indoor soccer schedules conflict with the Riggers schedule most games. The one game we got to this year? The best of them all - the Champion's Cup final. I've been to a lot of sporting events, including some championship moments (Canada Cup, WHL Final, World Series, and several amateur events). This championship lacrosse game was one of, if not the most exciting of all of them. Seeing the unbridled joy on the faces of the Roughnecks shows that these players truly play for the love of the game. We'll get out to more games next season, hopefully including another Champion's Cup final.
