I've loved Ben Folds Five ever since getting a cassette EP in the mail for Whatever and Ever Amen and missed the maybe one chance at seeing them live back in the day. Fortunately they did this stop in Toronto and it was definitely worth the wait! They played a solid mix of old and new songs and I loved the casualness (not a word) about the band while they played. Kool Haus was a nice small venue to see them in, even if it's not the most sound-friendly. Really hope to see Ben Folds Five, or Ben Folds solo act for that matter, again soon!!

Great show!!! The band sounds just as good live as they do recorded. A good mix of old songs and songs from the new album.

Very energetic show! It's nice to see a band relating so well to the audience and simply looking like they're having the time of their lives. It was really great to be able to see them.

I didn't get into Ben Folds Five until after they broke up and Ben doesn't seem to come around here much on his solo tours, so I was delighted that their reunion run added in a stop in Toronto.
The band seemed to be having a good time and willing to blow off the setlist when a good request came in. (It was implied that they hadn't played Tom & Mary in years, but you'd never have guessed.)
