As always, the guys from BTBAM blew minds and melted faces. The show began with a band called Tesseract. I had never heard of them before and though I only caught their last couple of songs, I was very impressed.
The next act belonged to the incredible instrumental progressive metal band Animals As Leaders. They too delivered an exceptional performance.
Between the Buried and Me were note-for-note perfect, just like they were the last two times I saw them. It's somewhat rare when an artist or band is able to sound as good live as they do in the studio but BTBAM often sounds better. Not only do they play flawlessly, but the stage presence and energy they display is phenomenal (especially Tommy Rogers, the vocalist).
My one problem was that Tommy's mic should have been turned up higher, the vocals were often hard to hear, especially the clean singing.
