We are new to Canada and to the whole Rodeo experience, it was unforgettable and so worth the trip. We would definately go back. The fact that we went to our very first Rodeo on the centenial year made it very special! So, thank you Calgary!

This is the first ime we have purchased tickets for the clubhouse. Wouldn't sit any where else. AC, quiet, TV's, clean washrooms, drinks.

Well, the Calgary Stampede was not at all what we expected... the rodeo itself was great, but the rest of the event is just a tourist trap.... and Calgary's way to make as much money as possible by shoving as many people as they can in the gates... and kudos to them, for pulling this off quite well. Being from BC, and attending the Williams Lake Stampede every year as well as several other rodeos, I can honestly say I don't think I will go back to Calgary anytime soon.... we were waaaaaay to far away from the action. In BC, you seem much more upclose and personal and on the same level as the cowboys and roughstock. Just my two cents worth :)

I would love to go to the Calgary Stampede every year because it is so much fun and totally exciting. The venue is full of things to do for all ages. Must get is the Calgary Stampede backpack with over $100 for free stuff from food to coupons at local restaurants.

Rain started coming but the events just got better. The rodeo arena was a large mud pit and the cowboys still particapated with a smile. Hats off to Lindsay the barrel racing gal whose horse slipped and rather than putting the horse in danger she walked him through the course. That was pure sportsmanship.

We hadn't been to the Stampede Rodeo for a few years, and truly enjoyed the Saturday rodeo. This is one tradition, as Albertans, we wish to uphold for years to come. The quality of stock, the professionalism in keeping the event moving, and the audience captivated was very well done. Keep up the good work, and we will be back for more next year. Congratulations on the superb Centennial celebration.

We enjoyed the Centennial Calgary Stampede Rodeo immensely. We had great seats and the 3.5 hours passed too quickly.
The cowboys put on a great show ... as well as the barrel racing cowgirls.
If I can make one suggestion to the Stampede Board and that is to have the sound turned down a bit. It was way way too loud. As a matter of fact, my husband complained and someone came up shortly after with two sets of earplugs - lol. He didn't wear them as they were too uncomfortable.
We've only missed one Calgary Stampede in the 45 years we've made Calgary our home! Can't wait till 2013.

The rodeo is always wonderful but this year we enjoyed it even more. We were on the infield for wild card Saturday and it was unforgettable! The novice events were particularly great.
