Although the theatre was only half full Pavlo and his group played as if to a full house. They joke around with the audience and their musical talent is second to none. We thoroughly enjoyed the evening and we plan on going again if he comes this way. He even gives away his guitar at the end of each concert so he never has to change strings.

Amazing Artist

Opening act(s): I love listening to The Jewel every day but the opening act was very poor compared to the great artist coming after.. The joke was old (had been presented the week before on radio) etc.. Nice people but not quite what we would wish for before this great artist.. @

It was an amazing night with one of the most talented performers alive! He was so warm and so close to the public while making music a magical event.

We loved Pavlo - every minute of this show - and we already look forwards to the next concert in Ottawa!

Bravo!

I have loved listening to Pavlo for years. This concert is the first time I have heard them live in concert. Amazing!!! The interaction with the crowd, the relaxed atmophere and the excellent music made for a completely enjoyable evening. I will definitely see them in concert when they come to Ottawa again. :) )

Although the auditorium wasn't full - it should have been: the audience was enthusiastic. The guitar (and other instrumental) playing was amazing. Every piece was hand-clapping or toe-tapping and the audience was encouraged to join in. Pavlo has a real raport with his audience; talks to them like he was talking to you over the kitchen table. They obviously love what they are doing, and love the people who come out to see them. All the musicians came out front at the end of the show to meet and talk with people as they left.

I have always judged "live"performances by the enjoyment displayed by the performer while entertaining the audience ........ this performance was "enjoyed" by Pavlo, and thus, so to was the audience ........ but I am acustomed to this performance presentation as it was the third time I have seen Pavlo in person ......... and each time gets better ....... the stimulation of his performance and music makes it appear as if he is personally performing for you ........ how satisfying is that?

Thoroughly enjoyable and entertaining evening with this talented group. Personable, interactive with audience and fantastic music and skills. They truly can entertain on stringed and percussion instruments. No lulls in the performance and each member of the group displayed his skills in solo spot lights which was very enjoyable. You need to be able to put half stars in, I would rate them at 41/2 stars easily. Seats need to be offset more so you look between heads. Big hair or tall persons require you to tilt your head to one side which is extremely uncomfortable.
