Was 110% better than 3 years ago! More to see, more tables and chairs, more bars - but sometimes still long line ups. Band was good, first set was mostly Zydeco, was very good, but than for some reason in the second set they played mostly rock which in my opinion didn't sound as good. They're a Zydeco band, they should stick to that, especially for a Mardi Gras party. Lots of people were dressed up and playing the part. Really good deal on getting pictures in the photo booth with four different backgrounds, nice colours, good quality - $2 per person! Glad to see they didn't try to take people to the cleaners. We left about midnight, just as some people started to get sick in the bathrooms and drinks were being spilt everywhere, had to be careful not to wipe out as you were walking around. Probably would have been a good idea that they had people walking around with mops.

Lots to see and do. I enjoyed the dancers, the band, the food concessions, variety of mixed drinks, and vendors! Lots of tables to sit at, plenty of dance floor space and a great place to meet other people!

This was the first time I went to mardi gras. I was hoping for more food items. The band wasnot that great. The music was not what I would hear from in New Orleans.
